Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why are some camera features unavailable?

FrameDuo uses Apple’s MultiCam technology for dual-camera recording. Some devices do not support MultiCam, and some camera combinations or recording formats may not be available on all devices.

2. Why does my device not support dual-camera recording?

Dual-camera recording depends on hardware and iOS support. If your device does not support the required MultiCam features, FrameDuo may show a device compatibility notice or limit recording options.

3. Why can’t I select certain formats or frame rates?

Available recording formats depend on your device cameras, system performance, camera combination, and iOS capabilities. Some advanced formats are available only when supported by your device.

4. Why can’t I record in stereo?

Stereo recording requires both Pro access and device support. Free users record in mono. FrameDuo Pro users can select stereo audio when the device supports it.

5. How do I restore my FrameDuo Pro purchase?

Open FrameDuo, go to Settings, open the FrameDuo Pro page, and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are restored through the App Store using the Apple Account associated with the original purchase.

6. I purchased FrameDuo Pro but features are still locked. What should I do?

Please make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account used for the purchase. Then open the Pro page and tap Restore Purchases. If the issue continues, please contact support.

7. Why did saving to Photos fail?

Please make sure FrameDuo has permission to add items to your Photos library and that your device has enough available storage. If the issue continues, restart the app and try again.

8. Does FrameDuo upload my videos?

No. FrameDuo does not upload your recordings to our servers. Videos are stored locally on your device and may be saved to your Photos library when you choose to save them.

9. How can I get the best recording results?

For important recordings, make sure your device has enough battery and storage, close unnecessary background apps, and avoid recording when the device is overheated.
